Prep & Pack List

Nature surrounds us here at Portibi.

The forest was here before us, and within this forest live spiders, bugs, snakes, rodents, musang, and even a wildcat or two. We do our best to keep these characters out of your personal areas through design and proper maintenance, but they are clever and sometimes get in. We assure you, the benefits and beauty of nature far outweigh the little things that make you go “eek”. Our staff are on call 24/7 to help if you have any concerns.

Pack List

Please note -- there is no shop onsite and you probably don’t want to venture away from the cozy surroundings during your stay, so we encourage you to bring enough essentials to keep you going while you’re here.

  1. Re-usable water bottle

  2. Raincoat/Poncho (we have umbrellas)

  3. Sturdy walking shoes with mud gapped soles

  4. Headlamp (we have flashlights here so it’s just an extra)

  5. Sweaters & warm socks for the evening

  6. Books, sketchpads etc. (we have books and games too)

  7. Easy slip on/off shoes (the main buildings are no shoe zones!)
